Olumsuz cümleler ise fiil cümlelerinde fiil köküne +medi, +madı eki eklenerek oluşturulur.

bilmek => bil +medi

In Turkish, Tense is formed by adding the , +di suffixes to the verb stem in verb sentences.

In negative sentences, the suffix +medi, +madı is added to the end of the verb stem.
